Tramar Lacel Daillard
Tramar Lacel, more popularly known by
his stage name Flo Rida (American rapper, singer and songwriter), is a Carol
City, Florida-based artist who is a composer, singer, and songwriter. His 2008
hit single "Low" made it to the top of the charts for a total of 10
weeks straight in the United States. It also broke the record for sales of
digital downloads at the time. Flo Rida's debut studio album, 2008's Mail on
Sunday, reached fourth place in the US. R.O.O.T.S. succeeded the album in 2008.
The next two albums were the 2010's Only One Flo Part 1 and 2012's Wild Ones
charted on US Billboard 200 charts. Flo Rida's global sales of over 80 million
albums have made him among the most successful music artists. His catalogue
includes popular singles "Right Round", "Club Can't Handle
Me", "Good Feeling", "Wild Ones", "Whistle",
"I Cry", "G.D.F.R. ", and "My House". The debut
album of Flo Rida, Mail on Sunday, was released in March of 2008. The track "Low"
with T-Pain was its first single. The track was also included in the soundtrack
of Step Up 2: The Streets. "Low" hit the top spot at No.
"Low" made it to the No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 charts.
"Elevator" featuring Timbaland, "In the Ayer" with
will.i.am as well as "Roll" with Sean Kingston, charted on the Hot
100, as well as other charts. Mail featured a variety of guests on Sunday
including T-Pain. Timbaland is featured on the track too. He produced the
second single, "Elevator". Rick Ross, and Trey Songz also made
appearances. Lil Wayne appeared on the track "American Superstar" as
well as Sean Kingston appeared on the J. R. Rotem-produced "Roll" the
track was written by Compton rapper Spitfiya. Birdman, Brisco and Yung Joc are
also guest performers. "Money Right" is a duet with Brisco as well as
Rick Ross, was scheduled to be the fourth single but it was cancelled due to
the upcoming launch of Flo Rida's second studio album, R.O.O.T.S. The second
collaboration between T-Pain "I Bet" and his collaboration with Trina
("Bout It") however, didn't make it onto the final track list. But,
they were both recorded.
