Will Ferrell
Will Ferrell
was a member of the cast of Saturday Night Live before going into the big
screen to play comedies like 'Elf' "Anchorman" and Talladega Nights.
Will Ferrell was born in Irvine in the year 1967. He started his comedic career
as a part of the group from Los Angeles called The Groundlings. Following his
famed seven-year stint as a performer on Saturday Night Live, he became one of
the film industry's most popular comedians through off-color hits such as Old
School (2003) and Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy (2004). Ferrell
co-founded Funny or Die, a popular video streaming website. He also enjoyed
successes as an actor voiceover in animated films such as Megamind (2010). John
William Ferrell was conceived in Irvine, California on July 16 1967. Will
Ferrell was the youngest son of Righteous Brothers keyboardist Lee Ferrell as
well as teacher Kay Ferrell. He was himself, as he admitted was not exactly the
class clown when he was a University High School student. He was quiet and quiet.
Ferrell decided to leave his impression on the football field, where he set the
school record for the most field goals scored. Ferrell was not a fan of the
bizarre, comical behavior that would determine his career, even in the suburban
house he lived in. "Very even tempered, very easygoing," his mother
recalled in an interview with Esquire. "You know those little Matchbox
cars? Will will be very happy if he lined up all of his Matchbox cars himself.
Then you'd say, "You want to go to Disneyland today?" He'd have to
think about the matter. Ferrell wasn't exactly a straight-laced man. A glimpse
of his comedic skills showed up each morning in high school, as he disguised
himself to make the daily announcements via the PA system. Following his
graduation in 1986 Ferrell went to the University of Southern California at Los
Angeles, where he was a member of Delta Tau, the Delta Tau fraternity and
pursued a degree in sports journalism.
